✨ 5 Tweet Thursday ✨ August 3, 2023
"Am I here?"
What’s up! Here are the five most interesting tweets I’ve seen this past week. Enjoy!
1. What are you expecting?
Winners expect to win.

If you’re not expecting to win, then what are you expecting? It all starts with you.
2. Deliberate Focus
I once heard @businessbarista talk about how he would cold DM hundreds people with the expectation that a certain percentage would respond.
He would lock himself in a room until he sent 100 DMs.
So to answer your question, that’s the type of thing I’d do.

In Sales, you definitely need to reach out to get visibility, meetings, customers, etc. But this approach here can kinda be applied to anything you want. Looking for a job? Want to get in better shape? Harness your focus.
3. Is SF back?
At the @AnthropicAI Hackathon, developers are building on Claude, even on a Sunday hosted by @cerebral_valley@SHACK15sf. Listen to my narration.
Is there any other city in the world this focused on building AI?

Love seeing this energy!
4. Being helpful
Do things for people with no expectation other than being helpful.
Help as many people as you can. Period. Repeat over and over and over.
This teaches you to live with no expectations of people and to have a life of service.

Atif took the words right outta my mouth here.
Instead of asking for things from people, try saying “How can I be helpful here?”.
5. Prof Galloway - “Am I here?”
This is a must 📺.
Most insightful thing I've watched about #AI, #Tech, and #Life from @profgalloway.
TY @peterdoolan for finding it for us!
